Micronutrient deficiency of new foliage on Loropetulum
In late summer, if plants have been potted for more than 9 months, micronutrients and lime can have leached completely from containers. Excessive watering over the summer to reduce heat may create soggy situations in the bottom of the container, especially if the physical properties of the substrate have changed and less air space is present. The result is poor micronutrient uptake and chlorosis.
